Map data — roads, towns, places and their amenities — comes from OpenStreetMap and is distributed under the ODbL licence. Tiles are served by SubAlpine.it and rendering relies on MapLibre GL.
Personal data
Planning a trip requires no account, and the service sets neither advertising cookies nor commercial trackers. Traffic is measured with Umami, installed on our own server, without cookies and without keeping any IP address: that measurement requires no consent. The traveller app does however offer to record your screen so we can see where it gets stuck — this is optional, starts only after your explicit agreement, and can be withdrawn from the Privacy page.
The detail — what is recorded, why, for how long, which outside services are called on and how to have everything erased — lives in a single document, the <lien>privacy policy</lien>. Repeating it here would guarantee that a retention period corrected one day would be corrected in one and not the other, and two versions of the same commitment are worth less than one.

Reporting an error
The places suggested come from OpenStreetMap and can be wrong: a business that has closed, out-of-date opening hours, an amenity that no longer exists. Corrections are made at the source, on openstreetmap.org, and then benefit everyone. To report anything else — content you consider unlawful, data concerning you — write to contact@subalpine.it, giving the address of the page and the nature of the problem.
